Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Skopina is a product of Capital Elevation Network LLC ("we," "us"). This policy covers the website at skopina.com and the Skopina preview application. Contact: steven@skopina.com.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us. When you request early access: your email address, and optionally your name and the role you select (fund manager, family office, individual investor, other). When you email us: whatever you include.
- Technical data received automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider records standard server-log data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure site performance. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not track you across other sites, and does not build a profile of individual visitors. We do not set advertising cookies.
- Preview-application usage. If you use the Skopina preview, the application may log basic usage (screens viewed, inputs submitted) to operate and improve it. We do not require you to enter brokerage credentials, account numbers, or other financial-account information, and you should not enter them.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your request for early access and contact you about Skopina.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and preview application.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the site and application, acting on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, DNS, email routing, and privacy-preserving web analytics.
- Formspree: processes the early-access form and delivers submissions to us.
- Google Fonts: serves the typefaces on this site; your browser requests them directly from Google, which may receive your IP address.
- Streamlit Community Cloud (Snowflake): hosts the Skopina preview application.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction such as a financing or acquisition.
5. How long we keep it
Early-access contact details are kept until you ask us to delete them or until we no longer need them to run the preview program. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period under its standard settings.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing steven@skopina.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
EU / UK residents (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing your early-access details is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time; for technical and security data it is our legitimate interest in running the service. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small early-stage service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Skopina is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
